Traditional Arctic Farmhouse

- Stina was a fantastic and proactive host, quick to give us information and reply. - The property is well-equipped, nicely furnished and has a wonderful, homely feel to it. Store cupboard basics are supplied so you can cook as soon as you arrive if you'd like, and things such as sanitary towels are available which is a very thoughtful touch. There is also a well-stocked bookshelf if you're after some reading material. - The house is in a fantastic location, right next to the water. It's also perfectly located to see the midnight sun, and it's not far from other locations such as Lyngstuva if you prefer an even less obstructed view. It is very quiet and pretty remote.

- Check-in could have gone smoother, but we were kept well-informed and Stina was very nice throughout. - The house is obviously a well loved home for the host or others at least some of time, and it does mean that some things show signs of being much used or a little dated - the oven is missing a knob, for example. Stina was very responsive and more than happy to help with this, however.

Für uns als Skitourengeher war die Lage sehr gut. Es gibt Touren, die direkt vom Haus aus gestartet werden können und weitere Touren konnten mit einer kurzen Autofahrt erreicht werden. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gemütlich. Die Küchenausstattung ist gut und die Dusche im Bad hat hervorragend funktioniert. Lediglich der Essplatz ist etwas beengt, aber man kann sich da schon arrangieren.

Living room and the kitchen are "the heart of the house" and we felt there like at home from the very first moment. There is possibility to rent snowshoes from the owner, which we did and we could do beautiful winter hikes.

It was little bit cold when we arrived, but heaters helped to solve it. Squicky bed in one bedroom

Nice old house on the Norwegian countryside. If you are full of luxury and stereotypical accomodations and looking for some more traditional but on the other hand really comfortable one, this is your choice
