D'Yoga Bamboo Cabin

The staff was amazingly kind and cook a late dinner and a breakfast for us. The garden is very nice. Looks beautiful from the outside, interesting natural experience with the bathroom 😅

Only cold water in the evening which was very annoying as we arrived very cold and wet from our trip (though it was hot in the morning). Stinky bathroom after rain, very small room with mold? on the wall?😅, no place to put your belongings (had to take in the outside chair) or to hang wet towel. The mattress was bad, very soft and we were sliding in the middle all the time as the mattress had bad indentation. The bathroom is an experience by itself 😅 it wasn't that bad but we had slugs there and there is no drainage so all your showering water goes right into the earth. (Let's face it, we are in Indonesia and it happens a lot here. But it doesn't mean it's right

It is great if you wanna do the trecking of Mt Batur. For one night its fine. The cabins looking great from outside but a bit shabby from the inside. Booked the trecking via the bamboo cabin and would do it again.

The location is great for the hike but bad for anything else. You need own scooter or car to arrive otherwise its very difficult or expensive.

The shower had good pressure. The bed was soft and comfy.

Stayed in the villa. Kintamani is full of flies. That is a negative the place cannot control, but it definitely made it less enjoyable. There were no fly-reducing measures in the room either, like a fan or fly sticky paper. The doors to the room were difficult to open and felt as if they were broken. The room lights were a bit dim. The room itself was exceedingly hot. Maybe 3-5 degrees Celsius above the outside air temperature. There was no fan. There was dust on most surfaces besides the bed. We got hot water for some tea we had and the water had visible chunks of dirt in it. We did not end up drinking it.

Great bungalow/villa we stayed in - very comfortable, clean with good views. Lovely garden in the property. Scooter rental on site. Friendly and welcoming staff. Mini markets and restaurants in walkable distance. Great place away from the crowds with a more local feeling in the area.

Construction going on next door but didn't bother us too much. No kitchen for use, if you want anything you need to order to some of the staff.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful as they live onsite with us. The owner of the place also organizes daily trips to Mount Batur and is in touch with local guides, and the departures are from the bamboo cabin place. No need to drive, you just wake up and meet your guide around a cup of tea. The quality of the trip was beyond our expectations, and we made such nice memories! The owner came to pick us up and also called a taxi when leaving which is very nice since the Grab app does not work there. We loved beeing immersed with the locals 🙃

The place is basic, so don't expect anything fancy. Fragile doors which are not easy to lock. Beware of the flies, they will follow you everywhere. One can hear the neighbours' next door conversations due to the thin walls and the mice running under the roof.. !

The owner was very helpful. He helped us for the Mt. Batur trekking guide and gave discount for the guide because we stayed at his hotel, and also helped us to go to the hot spring water to get more discount even though we didn't book from him. Thank you
