This Riad is perfect. It's out of the noise of the Médina but still full of character and not in one of those edge of town resort hotels which are so bland they could be anywhere in the world. In this Riad you know you're in Morocco. The decor is stunning. Thoughtful touches everywhere. There are also lots of useful, practical things (and I run holiday cottages myself in the UK so i know what i'd like to see!) The fridge has cold drinks on arrival and some coffee / tea etc to get you started. Very close by there are several places to eat even at 11pm when we arrived after long airport queues. There are a couple of little food shops too, and an ATM. From the riad you can walk to the Medersa in 20 mins, to the big square in 30. But you can also get a cheap taxi or private car via the app all the way to the big square for 30 - 40 dirham. Our teenagers loved the house. Lots of space. Rooftop terrace for morning coffee! The owner, Gilles, is so friendly and things of everything and was able to print and deliver our boarding cards, organise airport transfers and didn't baulk at us having to leave at 3am for flight home! I recommend this place wholeheartedly. If i am lucky enough tocomeback to Marrakech, i will re-book this Riad immediately!!
