The apartment is clean and comfortable. The hot water in the shower was immediate

The were obviously people smoking in the building (the passage leading to the apartment had a heavy smoke smell) and the smoke smell was noticeable in the apartment. The apartment does not feature block out blinds, so do to the City location, the apartment is quite bright at night. The apartment did not have a suitable adapter to enable use of the supplied hairdryer.

The apartment in The Tokyo is a private apartment in this building on the 7th floor with a large window and a fantastic view. The building is guarded, entry via face code. Roof top with a swimming pool and a great view of downtown and the surrounding mountains. The apartment had everything needed and as described. Strong wifi, clean and spacious. Generally, I recommend this place because I felt good there. You feel free and independent. Check in and check out are quick and efficient using the key locker code. You receive all instructions on WhatsApp in time before check-in.

The ladies at the reception were busy with themselves and their faces were not very friendly. Gentlemen smiling and communicative. Unfortunately, it is noisy at night because there are nightclubs and a busy street. When there is a strong wind, the large window has an intense resonance, which scared me at first. The walls to the neighbors are thin and you can hear everything. The area is so-so, but you have to be vigilant. No cleaning service throughout the week. No small bottle of water upon arrival (a bottle of water upon arrival is an international standard).

The luxury family studio with balcony was not available so we were DOWN GRADED . The apartment we stayed in was nothing like the pictures or descriptions on Booking.com. Staff at reception were unable to help we had to only deal with owner by txt. Smoke detector had been covered up with plastic bag. Freezer door would not shut as completely iced up. Aircon not working Hair dryer needed special adapter plug. Owner dealt with basic issues next morning and apologised. A small refund for inferior accommodation was offered so we shall see if it materialises. Bottom line is we did not get the accommodation as per photos and description on Booking.com
