The Sandy Pod

It was very high spec and immaculate. Everything was like a hotel stay. Easy parking and a nice 30 minute walk to pubs and restaurants.

The bed was a little narrow for what we are used to.

There was no breakfast

No all was very good

It was so adorable..... loved the location

The shower is a little odd, it goes from hot to cold and we were enable to regulate it!

The Sandy Pod was a totally contained little home. It was along the shore and had a wonderful sheep (we named her Lucy) behind us in the field. We could cook and refrigerate all of our food. We were provided with the key code for the place. It was easy to find and was on a very quiet road. There is a memorial walk along the shoreline that is easy access from the pod.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the pod.

Very peaceful and quiet. Pod was very clean and modern.

Only complaint is no wardrobe space. Not easy I suppose in a small pod.

It was self contained and very comfortable.

Bed was a bit small

My partner and I travelled to Stornoway with just our bikes. We rode the bikes to and from the town and the Sandy Pod, which only takes about 10 minutes each way. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm, kitchen facilities in great working order, complete with a fridge and oven as well as the stove. We cooked very easily there. The whole pod was exceptionally clean and new looking, and held the heat wonderfully. The area the pod is in is nothing short of spectacular, with pastoral views with sheep and grass with the Sandwick Bay very close by. A perfect little accommodation for two people, would highly recommend to anyone! Good selection of complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, milk, cookies, and wine!
