Villa Del Sol

We booked this last minute and it was a bit hard to figure out how to get inside but once we called we were able to get in. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was clean. We felt safe at the hotel and walking around the city. This was a nice stop on the way to Grutas Tolantongo.

This is probably the best place to stay in Ixmiquilpan, especially if you have kids and need/want separate bedrooms. They are all 1 - 3 bedroom apartments, and the on-site parking behind a closed/gated garage ensures your car stays safe. And Elías, who runs the place, is always available and will make sure you have what you need.

Al principio, me dije, " que es este lugar??" Y ya dentro del edificio todo cambio! Principalmente la ubicacion esta tranquila, pero cerca del centro, ademas es excelente si vienen a los balnearios. Por dentro es muy comodo. La atencion por parte del encargado fue muy buena y muy cordial! Espero volver pronto.

Elias was very helpful. Since day one he demonstrated his professionalism and was very attentive.

Our stay was amazing. Very comfortable for 3 adults and we found that it would also be great with kids. The property manager, Elias, was the best feature- very responsive, vigilant and accommodating (the help with the fireplace & a tamales pickup as he ran errands made our Christmas Eve!). Loved that we had a safe authentic stay in Ixmiquilpan & were able to enjoy Tolantongo Grutas. Would definitely return and recommend!

there is no place for check-in as this is NOT a hotel-like property. It was hard to find and we had to call to be let in (good thing someone in my group speaks Spanish). the place is spacious but a bit rundown and seems and smells like it has been empty for awhile.

Elias was very accommodating and responsive. Check in and out was easy.
