Lovely & Central Apartment

The apartment is truly centrally located and easy to access both by car, public transport and on foot. We usually found parking spots in the more economic zone of the area. (The cost of parking on the side of the apartment is 600 HUF per hour and you have to pay between 8 am and 10 pm, whereas only 450 HUF per hour is to be paid only between 8 am and 8 pm on the opposite side of the same street and a side street.) The home is a few minutes' walk from the nearest bus and subway stops, a popular square with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, eateries, barber shops, etc. We chose this apartment based on our need of 3 separate bedrooms and the availability of parking so it served that purpose. Communication was easy, polite and prompt with the host.

It was not clear from the photos nor the description that 2 of the 3 bedrooms were upstairs (and without windows or ventillation of their own) which meant that all luggages had to be left in the not too spacious kitchen/living area, some of us had to climb the stairs up and down in the dark at night and the party staying in the downstairs bedroom had to sleep with the windows and doors open to provide fresh air for everyone. Some noisy guests/residents in other apartments and the acoustics of the closed courtyard made the first night quite uncomfortable. The home is modern, stylish and largely thought through, however there is a coffee maker without any coffee, a washing machine with washing liquid but without a clothes rack, building/renovation material left in the cupboards which was a bit surprising given the obvious effort that had been put into styling this apartment.

Location good. Appartment was well appointed; bedroom, living area etc. Organising taxis was simple, taxis were prompt.

Unfortunately the mattresses upstairs were not clean/ hygienic. The sheets and pillow cases were fresh but on inspection the matress was stained !. :(

The location and space were great, the beds are comfortable and the shower was good too.

Some of the furnishings are looking tired and worn, and the toaster didn't work however these didn't impact our stay and would happily stay again.

Nothing to like in this apartment

I stayed at this apartment, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. On the first night, it was extremely cold, and the heating was not working, and there was one small blanket per person. We couldn’t sleep at all. To make matters worse, the main door had a problem and could not close properly. I reported this to the host, and they said they would send someone to fix both the door and the heating. We left the apartment for the day, and when we returned, we retrieved the key from the lockbox as instructed. However, as soon as we entered, we were shocked to find our clothes scattered all over the room. Three of our bags were missing, along with several personal belongings. We lost most of our items. I immediately contacted the host, and her only response was, “We’re so sorry, but the door was left open by you, ( I left the door open because it was not working and you brought a guy to repair it, and after repairing, you left the key to the safe locker. How is it possible that someone could enter the apartment and steal only our clothes, bags, and personal belongings—yet leave valuable items like the large TV and microwave untouched? This situation was not only frustrating but also deeply unsettling. I strongly advise others to stay away from this apartment.

It was a good place to stay for a few days with friends, close to the city center and clean apartment.
