The Sun Rooms

Nice comfortable room in a pub. Nice staff. No view (stone wall). No good available. Had to go out elsewhere for dinner and breakfast (although coffee and prepacked croissants were provided in the room). Very well located on the main street in Alnmouth but quiet.

Heat didn’t seem to work and it wasn’t clear who to talk to about the problem. Staff did eventually address it and provided blankets and a heater.

The rooms were very good

It would have been better if a fried breakfast had been offered

Great stay at the Sun Inn. It's a great pub offering quality products and a great atmosphere. My room was lovely and I slept well. I didn't eat at the pub but the food looked lovely and lots of people were in there eating ( I ate across the road at an Italian restaurant which was also wonderful ). I had a great stay and I would 100 % recommend. Great value, a great pub, and Alnmouth is a wonderful and magical place

You couldn't get breakfast. But this is only a minor quibble. There are plenty of places to eat nearby.

We paid for breakfast and it was great, the lady couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Great old pub great range of beers. Family room ideal for one night and four golfers-tea biscuits croissants juice inbroom
