Cozy, friendly bar and restaurant and comfortable, clean room all perfect.

This is a great place to stay in Alnmouth. The locals recommend it, which is always a good sign. The inn has character, which is reflected in the room. Everything was clean and proper, as expected. I was here to visit family, so didn't spend too much time in the pub itself. Alnmouth is bracing: you don't come here for gentle tropical breezes, you come here to be bought alive by the weather ... and maybe to play on one of the world's oldest golf courses. The room was perfect for the place.

Finding a place to park in Alnmouth can be a challenge.

The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast tray was a lovely unexpected touch. Crossaints, jam etc and orange juice - thank you.😃

Shame the pub isn't open Monday evenings, but we were left clear instructions to our room and the pub across the road served excellent food.

Cleanliness of room. Comfortable bed. Lots of space. Great shower. Location in centre of village and a few minutes walk to beach. Friendly people. Felt comfortable alone in bar and enjoyed Sunday lucn.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room in the centre of Alnmouth.

No breakfast served, only tea&coffee making facilities and a croissant in the fridge. This was NOT replenished for day 2. The shower and big towels were wonderful. The location was excellent and we could get breakfast elsewhere.

No staff on second day as the pub was closed all day. The (old) fridge in the room was noisy. No chair to use in the room - given the quiet, dark location, we spent quite a lot of evening time in the room. Sprawling on the bed was not good for my back!
