Beautiful property, everything is walking distance. Great experience.

We booked our room last minute, and the owners were so accommodating and quick to respond. The building was beautiful and clean and very open. Loved everything anout this! Woke up to the sun comming in the window and the castle right out side our window it was amazing. Will stay here again when we come back!

Property was not as described, walls were thin, the fridge was making noise and there was no TV. Luggage assistance was available when we checked in but would not be available when we needed to leave for the airport. We left 2 hours after check-in and they were unwilling to refund for the 2nd night we wouldnt be staying.

Communication with the Hostess Maricruz was excellent. She answered all my questions and then some! The place was beautiful and immaculate

Pros: The location is amazing. The ambiance inside is nice- lots of plants. The high ceilings make the room feel bigger than it is. Cons: Communication. The building and room require codes. Several days before our arrival, I received a message asking for my arrival time. I said around 3pm. The morning of, I received the exact same message. I responded 9am that we would arrive between 3-4. The message gave me the numbers of Maricruz and Anthony and it said I would receive the codes before check-in (3pm). We arrived at 3:45pm. No codes. I called Maricruz. No answer. Anthony. No answer. I texted that we had arrived and did not have codes to get in. I called both numbers again. Still no answer. My partner went across the street to the market owned by the same people. They tried to contact Maricruz. I called again. All while standing outside in the blistering heat with our luggage. I was sent to voicemail after 1 ring and that's when I was texted the codes. At 4:21. No apology. No acknowledgement that they were late, that there was any inconvenience. No offer of anything. Just...the codes.

The place is a gem, right at the Plaza De Colon. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioning works great. There is a common area that allows you to make coffee and tea and microwave. It is close to some great bars and restaurants.

Great stay as a Solo Traveler. Right in the perfect spot in Old San Juan. Everything you need is near by. Management and staff were very helpful.
