"Prima verblijf!"

Ontbijt was oke. niet heel uitgebreid maar prima. Speciaal compliment naar de dame die het ontbijt verzorgde en de guesthouse schoonmaakte. Erg vriendelijk alhoewel ze geen woord Engels sprak (en ons Portugees ook nihil is). Met wat handen & voeten en Google translate kwamen we er wel uit samen. Opvallend was de smetteloze hygiene in het Guesthouse. Communicatie via whatsapp met de beheerder was uitstekend en in het Engels.

Wij sliepen op het zolder appartement. Op zich niks mis mee, bed was goed, sanitair verder ook maar voor lange mensen zoals ik (204 cm) is zo'n puntdak echt niet leuk om in te bewegen, paar keer mijn hoofd gestoten. Verder misten we een kapstok, wat kastruimte en zat de douchekop los, dat heb ik gemeld bij de beheerder.

Le stanze sono comode e gli spazi comuni ampi e puliti. L’edificio molto bello, con un restauro interessante: tutto molto nuovo. Colazione varia (dolce/salato) e macchina per il caffè vero. Il gestore si è rivelato disponibile.

La posizione decisamente scomoda per chi -come me- non viaggia con auto: lontana dal centro, dalle spiagge e dalla scogliera, raggiungibili con una camminata di mezz’ora in una zona urbana che ricorda tanto una periferia metropolitana (non una bella passeggiata). Le camere al piano terra affacciano sulla strada (forniti tappi per le orecchie dalla struttura). Si sentono molto i rumori dal piano di sopra (il pavimento sembra non avere isolamento). La procedura di check in in autonomia con codici e senza interazione con una persona in carne ed ossa a me non piace, ma capisco che per chi gestisce l’alloggio sia comoda.
