The West Wing

The breakfast was good and well presented. The in room refreshments provided were very good.

The location was much more remote than expected with access via a long dirt track. There was no desk area in which to work.

The breakfasts were great and had good conversations with jane, she's a lovely lady. Very helpful and accommodating.

Everything was great at our stay.

What a lovely find akin to a real sanctuary in beautiful surrounding countryside. Breakfast was truly excellent.

Ambience, scenery. Host very obliging.

Our belief is that due to the configuration of stairs, which in our view are extremely dangerous to any person with any amount of mobility issues, it should have been made very clear on booking.

Location was perfect for us, as we were visiting relatives just nearby. The West Wing is a peaceful, comfortable place. It's well run & we were made very welcome. The accommodation is very spacious & well maintained. Breakfast was hearty & delicious. Jane is a great host.

Be aware the location is somewhat remote, so you have to drive to get to amenities. The accommodation is on the first floor, up a twisting staircase. The bedroom is across the stairs from both the bathroom & living area which requires a reasonable degree of mobility.

We loved the location. About a mile from anywhere and the peace and quiet was fabulous. Jane is so welcoming and friendly and her full english breakfast of sausages, bacon, tomatoes, beans, eggs, hash browns, black pudding, orange juice, toast and coffee served in the breakfast kitchen was superb. The room exceeded our expectations in that is like a small contained apartment. We weren't expecting that! The stairway is private for your accommodation only and it leads you up to a lounge, bedroom and bathroom all decorated beautifully with everything you need. The bed is so comfortable with Egyptian cotton bedding. Outside is a nice area with seating and a peacock who is only too willing to show off when you are around. Having been a B&B owner I know a good one when I see one and the West Wing is a good one. Thank you Jane

The host Jane was very welcoming when we arrived. Our accommodation was so clean and comfortable. We slept really well and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. The views where amazing with a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend

A hidden gem of a historic house, surrounded by beautiful countryside affording views of Snowdonia and the vale of Clwyd. A very warm welcome from Jane and fascinating conversations about Forest Bathing. A gorgeous peacock displaying in the gardens.
