The hosts were reachable, but our concerns were not taken seriously and the issue was not resolved. The location is also quite far uphill and not particularly close to the city center, although this is clear from the description.

I would prefer to give no stars at all. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong smell of dampness and mold throughout the accommodation. We reported it immediately, but were told that everything had been cleaned and that the smell was not caused by mold. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The walls and floors felt noticeably damp. The unpleasant smell remained throughout our entire stay. As a result of the odor and poor air quality, I developed severe headaches during our stay. Anyone who cares about their health, especially families with children or people with allergies or respiratory sensitivities, should avoid staying here. The dampness and mold smell were impossible to ignore. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation and would not stay here again.

Patty’s House was a lovely and peaceful place to stay. The location is very convenient — just a few minutes from the bus station, and there’s a taxi stop about 200 meters away, so it’s easy to reach the city center. The neighborhood is quiet, and the apartment is well-equipped with everything you might need: a fully functional kitchen, washing machine, iron, and reliable Wi-Fi. The hosts are truly wonderful — warm, kind, and always ready to help. The internet connection works perfectly, and the house feels cozy and welcoming. I visited off-season, but everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. A great stay in Kavala — highly recommended!
