Dar El Mahdia

Location carina, Cortile centrale con una piccolissima piscina, probabilmente molto utilizzata nel periodo estivo. Camera spaziosa, ma molto umida, forse perché il giorno precedente aveva piovuto abbondantemente. Colazione molto curata servita in terrazzo al primo piano (tè e caffè, fragole e datteri, yogurt, uova, ciambella cioccolato e vaniglia, cetrioli e pomodori, burro e marmellata). Nella struttura non è presente nessuno se non per il check-in e per le colazioni e le pulizie; quindi, bisogna avvertire prima di arrivare in maniera che qualcuno venga ad aprire e dare la chiave. Inoltre, su Google Maps non sono riuscito a trovare la struttura ed ho dovuto utilizzare le indicazioni di Booking. Tra l’altro l’ingresso è su una stradina laterale minuscola e l’insegna non molto visibile. La signora che ci ha fatto il check-in e ci ha servito le colazioni è stata molto carina.

Very nicely done little house in a great location in Mahdia! The staff are really wonderful and helped us so much with everything we needed: food, massage, even organising to go horse riding! Had a wonderful couple of days

Acceuil chaleureux par Amel qui est très consciencieuse et aux petits soins. :) La maison est d'une propreté remarquable, c'est rare. La décoration est méticuleusement bien choisie. Le petit déjeuner est bien avec quelques produits locaux.

Décu par la piscine qui n'était absolument pas en état, ce qui créée de la déception et fait baisser le rapport qualité / prix surtout pour un séjour hors saison. A mentionner dans l'annonce !

Parking right in front. Pleasant check in. Cash only. You get a key to your room and the front door. Family room is on the second floor with a beautiful white washed stairway going up to the children’s loft. There is a balcony/ patio off the main room which is quite lovely with some furniture. I'm not sure that it's private for this room though. The room is decorated in a sea theme. Bathroom is good size. Can walk to the rest of old Madiha and restaurants easily. Breakfast was fine. It was offered to be set on the balcony to which we agreed but then she set it in the kitchen for us the next morning with no explanation. Coffee, hot milk, yogurt, oranges, hard boiled eggs, bread, cake, halva, butter and jam.

The guest house wasn't easy to spot; no obvious signage. The bathroom's shower curtain and curtain rod need desperate upgrading. I was expecting a bit better view of the sea from the balcony/patio. In February the room was damp and cold even with the heat pump on, maybe all the hot air was going to the loft. The duvet on the bed was very heavy though and kept us warm all night long.

Leuke, kleine accommodatie gerund door een familie. Veel zorg en aandacht. Leuke familiekamer met toegang tot ijssalon.
