lovely location and the swimming pool was wonderful. short distance to beach and the town and lots of restaurants around, as well as local supermarket and fruit shop. the kitchen was compact but had all that we needed and there was a lovely yogurt, Croissants and water for us. which was great as we arrived very late. the host accommodated our late arrival and provided extra instructions. good air-conditioning. Also nice little places to sit and night and play cards or have a cold drink. Perfect.

Well, I have to be honest here and tall you of the bad experience. We arrived very late at night and it was extremely hot we went to get some food in local takeaway and when we returned I notice as I was leaving the bathroom a horrible creature not the floor. Myself and my daughter freaked and we were terrified. I was so disappointed and as thought 'I can't stay here now, we have to leave' we were screaming then my daughter found a chemical spray under the sink in kitchen and we sprayed the nasty creature it died quickly - but it was big. I sprayed the toxic chemical all around the door and corners of the bathroom. But after a night of rechecking no more appeared nor did they appear for the rest of our stay. So I was kind of glad we didn't just leave as the place was nice. Host apologised and explained that in extreme heat it can sometimes happen, despite best efforts. But we kept that toxic spray to hand of the entire week it was reassuring to have. the bed was a bit unsteady and made us nervous - think the host should consider a new design.

La situation géographique, les produits de base à disposition, la propreté, la piscine irréprochable.

Le lit est inconfortable, l'insonorisation mauvaise car le bruit est omniprésent même la nuit. Pour un long séjour, ce n'est pas évident de s'adapter.

Hoe schoon het was bij aankomst.

Geen vervanging van de lakens en handdoeken, ondanks dat vooraf vermeld stond. De grote van het appartement hadden we ons ook op verkeken en dat het geen balkon had, maar opzich kon je om de hoek wel op een groot balkon gaan zitten waar de wasrekken stonden. Jammer dat het bed niet top was en je naar het midden zakte samen. Tot slot het gebouwencomplex was een beetje oud en waren verder ook geen toeristen, wat jammer was voor de echte vakantiebeleving.

Sophia’s studio is a great place to stay if in Mondello. Just a quick walk to the beach and restaurants and then there’s a bus into Palermo nearby aswell. The apartment is spotless and lovely and bright and the pool on site is beautiful. Couldn’t recommend anywhere nicer!

Our only critique is that there was a funky smell in the kitchen but once the window was opened it went away.
