Chalets du BF

Absolutely lovely! We will be returning for sure. You can see the craft and passion the hosts put into this. The cabins are incredibly cute and comfy, the view is amazing. They have a lot of activities covered: from a ping pong table, lounge chairs, a very cute outdoors kitchen, a trampoline for kids, a rocking chair to enjoy the view and a jacuzzi (ciubăr actually), to easy access to the forest right in the back yard. The hosts are so nice! You will find water, tea and coffee in the room, but they also brought us homemade lemonade and made sure we have everything we need. The location is perfect too, you're only 20-25 min from the city centre by foot, got a shop 10 min away and you can cook for yourself if you wish as well. We could see the forest from the cabin and a small deer chomping on some wild raspberries nearby. No car sounds or any unpleasant noises, though you may hear all the church bells, train and lots of singing birds - it was quite magical on a Sunday morning. This isn't some big company making cabins with contractors. It's a small family owned business and everything in there is built and made by them: gorgeous wooden lampshades, big slabs of gorgeous wood as tables and kitchenettes, the cutest stairs, small logs to sit by the fire pit and a nice brick stove are just some highlights. If you do come here please respect and appreciate all their hard work and craft!

The jacuzzi fee was a bit steep for us, as we were just one couple and wouldn't use it all day. It does however cover it for the whole day for as many people as you wish, so it's definitely worth it if you're coming with the family or friends! The road there is also a bit difficult so it's not ideal by foot (especially in peak summer or icy winter) but the taxis are quite cheap and well organised.

The chalet was cosy and beautifully done. The owners put a lot of care in the accommodation and facilities available. There was plenty of wood for the stove, which heated the chalet very quickly. They also gave a large bottle of water and chocolates, which were a nice touch. We walked to town to avoid driving, and it was a reasonable walk.

A dishcloth to dry the dishes would be handy.

It is close to the city, but the higher up location makes it feel like you are in the middle of the forest. The panoramic view over the city is beautiful. The cabin was very cozy and the host was very welcoming and eager to help with anything. Definitely would recommend!

Great place to stay: Lovely and charming hosts. They gave us a great recommendation for Italian restaurant Michelangelo (it was perfect - thank you). So cozy by the fireplace. The view from the Cabin was amazing!

Very relaxing and quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature offering amazing views. The chalet is really cute, looking like a doll house finding everything you need under one roof. The host is very kind and welcoming. This chalet is amazing for short holiday breaks. Great free parking space in the drive-in.
