Vanilla Apartment - Pipera

Our recent stay at Vanilla Apartment - Pipera left us with mixed feelings and notable concerns that I feel compelled to share. 1. Check-in Experience: Upon contacting the host for an early check-in at 14:30, we were informed that the cleaning was not completed yet. While we appreciated the option to leave our belongings, the apartment was still not ready even by the official check-in time of 15:00. 2. Cleaning Issues: After waiting until 15:10, we discovered that the suite was not adequately cleaned. It appeared to be in disarray, presumably due to the rush from the previous booking. We contacted the host again, and he assured us that the cleaning crew, consisting of only one person, would swiftly address the situation. 3. Subpar Cleaning Standards, Including Unsanitary Bathrooms: Regrettably, the cleaning crew's efforts fell short. Upon returning 40 minutes later, we found steps everywhere, dirty floors, and evidence of a hurried vacuuming job. Hair and crumbs adorned the tables, and although the garbage was removed, remnants of a spilled liquid were left behind. The bathrooms were not only unclean but also lacked proper sanitation. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing. 4. Missing Essential Consumables: The haste in cleaning also resulted in essential consumables being overlooked. Hand soap, dish cleaner, and kitchen towels were notably absent, leaving us in a situation where basic necessities were lacking.

5. Attempted Resolution: Following these issues, we contacted the host again, and he offered to send the cleaning team back to the suite. However, not wanting to inconvenience ourselves further by moving our belongings or observing the cleaning process, we declined and took it upon ourselves to clean the apartment to ensure a comfortable stay. 6. Unfulfilled Promises: In an effort to make amends, the host promised a 10% discount for the troubles we had faced and expressed willingness to personally deliver the missing consumables. Unfortunately, the promised discount was never applied. While it's not solely about the monetary aspect, the absence of the offered discount left us with the impression that the host's commitment to making things right may not have been as sincere as initially conveyed, just dust in the wind for comfort and maybe a good rate. Conclusion: In conclusion, our stay at Vanilla Apartment - Pipera was marred by a poorly managed cleaning process, a lack of attention to detail, and unfulfilled promises from the host. While the host was responsive, the overall experience fell short of expectations. I hope this feedback helps in addressing these issues for future guests.

Very well maintained apartment,functional,clean and in a new nice and green neighbourhood.It will be on my list of preferences on Bucharest options of staying.

Fortunately we find a parking place but in the future it might be a challenge.If the apartment can have a designated parking place it will be a plus.
