The Farm Shop

Leckeres Frühstück mit Farmprodukten im wunderschön eingerichteten Haupthaus bei klassischer Musik. Am Abend hatten wir  ein ovambisches Dinner gebucht, ohne zu ahnen, wie authentisch es war (= einschließlich der geröstetem Mopane Würmer😅). Aber genau das war ein Erlebnis. Wer will, kann aber auch alternativ ein leckeres Kudu-Steak bekommen! Gastgeber Ulf nimmt sich Zeit für seine Gäste. Man kann sehr interessante Gespräche mit ihm führen und viel über das Leben in Namibia erfahren. Leider haben wir seine Frau verpasst, da sie unterwegs war. Zimmer einfach, aber sauber.

Keine Kritik, nur ein Hinweis: Ulf hat 3 grosse Hunde, die alle Besucher erst mal mit lautem Gebell am Zaun begrüßen. Sie sind danach aber total friedlich.

Man, Ulf and Usia are really wonderful hosts! The supper was great and the stories were amazing. I definitely would go back. I wish I could stay longer.

The rooms were clean.

The overall first impression of the facilities are not good given that the yard is unorganised and does not look neat. The outside of the buildings are still under construction. The renovations in one of our rooms were not yet completed. Loud music played and there were banging noises until late at night. The "included breakfast" as advertised is misleading. Only coffee, bread and one papaya between 5 people are included. Any other breakfast items are at an extra charge which was the first time I experienced this at an establishment that says breakfast is included. We plugged our caravan into an electrical outlet for the night. On our bill we were charged extra for this power usage even though we were not informed beforehand that this will result in an additional fee.

Absolutely exceptional!

Perhaps on flexibility with methods of payment...other than that all was superb!

une chambre plus confortable aurait été la bien venue, mais c'était un prix avec bonus Booking Genius (cause a effet ?)

Accueil chaleureux, repas délicieux et literie extra, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le must : le dîner était excellent, je recommande

La vue de notre chambre n'était pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Des travaux sont en cours ....

Wunderbare, humorvolle Gastgeber die es verstehen ihren Gästen einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Es war grandios! Die selbstgemachten Marmeladen sollten unbedingt probiert werden. Vielen lieben Dank!
