The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, always happy to help and making us feel well looked after from the moment we arrived. The rooms were modern and clean with a nice contemporary feel. Having a smart TV in the room was also a great touch and made relaxing in the evenings much more enjoyable. We also felt that the actual hotel booking itself was fairly priced and being able to use WhatsApp to converse with the staff was very handy.

Very disappointed with our stay. We booked this hotel based on the highly rated reviews from previous guests, which made our experience even more frustrating as we felt completely misled. Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to expectations at all. The noise was a major issue throughout our time there, with constant construction work during the day and loud chickens/cockerels calling all day and throughout the entire night, making it very difficult to relax or get proper sleep. This was made even worse by the fact that there were no proper windows in the room—just open holes in the wall—so there was no way to shut the noise out or get any peace and quiet. The beds were also extremely hard and very uncomfortable, making it even more difficult to get a proper night’s sleep. The shower was also frustrating, as the hot water only lasted around two minutes before turning completely cold, which was far from ideal. We only ordered one meal at the hotel restaurant and that was enough for us not to eat there again. The food arrived not as described on the menu and was severely undercooked, which was really unacceptable. Breakfast options were also very limited with little variety. To make matters worse, the food and drinks were overpriced compared to other places nearby. In fact, it was actually cheaper for us to get a taxi into Ubud centre, have a meal there, and get a taxi back than it was to eat at the hotel itself. The pool was also very misleading compared to the photos advertised online. It is much smaller than it appears in the pictures, with only enough space for around four sun loungers, and the entire area is completely shaded, which was disappointing as it did not match expectations at all. The location of the hotel was also not ideal. It is not within walking distance of anything at all, so you have to rely on taxis for everything, which quickly becomes inconvenient and adds extra cost to your stay.

Rustig gelegen tussen de rijstvelden en de jungle. Mooie locatie als je rust wilt. Ik had de kamer met eigen pool, was erg ruim. Leuk zitje buiten, fijn dat er grote koelkast aanwezig was.

Er is niks in de buurt, Ubud ligt zeker 20 minuten rijden. Eigen pool ligt volledig in de schaduw, daarom eigenlijk te koud om te gebruiken. Kamer was niet geheel schoon bij aankomst, hebben ze dag erna verholpen. Echter was het beddengoed nog steeds niet echt schoon. Bij vertrek was er een nieuwe/dichte fles zonnebrandcrème weg. Receptie gaf aan dat niemand de fles had gezien en dat ze niks zonder mijn toestemming uit de kamer halen. Verder deden ze er niks aan, dat was geen fijne afsluiting van mijn verblijf hier.
