Almost Heaven - 4 min drive from Donegal Town

Warm fire upon arriving. Lovely setting. Wonderful host. Washing machine available with drying rack. Host offered to dry difficult clothes.

The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond to make our two-night stay comfortable. We were greeted with fresh eggs, butter, milk, Irish brown bread, Tayto crisps and biscuits. The apartment is separate from the main house (good for privacy) and well equipped with anything one could need, including a washing machine. When our washing didn't dry on the hanging rack outside by the next day, our lovely host Anne went above and beyond and dried AND folded our clothes for us. The location is only a few minutes drive from Donegal town but it's not easily walkable. Free parking is available right outside the apartment. Worthy to note that the hot water is on a timer so you'll need to plan showers 45-60 minutes ahead of time if you want hot water and keep your showers somewhat brief, but that was fine.

Nothing to complain about. The only suggestion is as others have said, perhaps consider labelling some of the switches (some are already labelled, but not most). For example, it took us a while to work out how to turn on the washing machine (there's a switch on the wall that is not labelled). Or perhaps put together a small "cheat sheet" with a few details/pics to help avoid confusion.

Lovely apartment - lovely quiet setting - excellent if travelling with a dog - fully equipped kitchen - fresh milk, soda bread, butter and eggs provided for our breakfast - lovely hosts they made us feel right at home

Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato la stufa accesa e in cucina uova, burro e latte. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile ed é venuta a salutarci. Inoltre, abbiamo dormito benissimo e nel silenzio più totale!

Il bagno é un po' piccolo, soprattutto il lavandino. Bisogna prestare attenzione all'accensione dell'acqua calda che é comandata da un interruttore a tempo e in cucina non c'è la lavastoviglie

It was the perfect relaxing spot and only a few minutes drive from town. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming with everything you could want in the accommodation it met all our expectations and more, we will without a doubt be back to breath taking Donegal 😊

The loft offers a relaxing, well-being atmosphere and an excellent base from which to explore all the beauties of Donegal county. We appreciated the discreet and caring presence of our hostess, Anne: kind attentions upon our arrival and a very efficient assistance when needed.

Unpredictable weather is (unfortunately) part of Ireland's identity. Obviously not related to the loft but probably explains the "Almost" :)

Lovely space, very comfortable. Host is very friendly.

The host at another place I stayed at had an info sheet with the unique points of their place - the wifi/password, how to turn on/off the hot water, how the TV works, etc. It really helped having all of that info in one place.

Friendly and helpful host. Dog friendly. Quiet. Everything that you could need was supplied. Facilitated early check in and late checkout.

Only a small thing, a lighter duvet would have been more comfortable in the warm summer nights
