"Much bigger than you think"

8.0

Great size bungalow with everything you need, good rear raised garden for dogs, perfect location for us, great shower and bath

Would have liked some extra pillows as the ones in one room were too thin but just a small thing. As others have said, it would benefit from a mirror at end of drive but not a major road.

"Deceptively spacious lovely peaceful cottage"

10.0

A wonderful spacious family home in a quiet countryside with parking, garden and a log fire. Perfect for New Quay and dolphin spotting - short drive. The cottage is deceptively spacious. There is parking in front of the house and a small veranda before you even enter the house. Two good size bedrooms, kitchen, utility room, bathroom, living room and a veranda at the back overlooking the garden. It’s beautiful for breakfast or when it’s raining. The hallway is wide making the house feel even larger. Garden isn’t big but well established with apple trees and roses. Shower is great. The cottage is tastefully decorated with pretty pictures and lights that add warm feel of a home. It is spotless clean and although not modern it has everything you need including quality appliances. Although you need to bring your necessities with you, the owner wouldn’t leave you struggling: there is tea and coffee, salt and pepper and even a few logs for the fireplace. It is very quiet and you can hear the birds, sheep in the distance and if you are lucky, you can hear a horse crunching grass next door. Can see a little through the bushes too. Log burner was my favourite part. Do bring your dry wood and keep it wrapped as once it gets damp it’s hard to start the fire. Just because another review made me concerned. The house is off the field road. As many roads in Wales are it is narrow and the speed limit is 70. No sane person would go 70 in reality, there is barely 1 passing car per hour. If you move to the edge and listen you should know if a car is coming or not so you can safely drive out. It’s so quiet I managed to stop and reverse park every time.

Nothing to dislike it’s beautiful and peaceful. When you arrive open the doors and let fresh air in as it has a bit of unlived smell. You also get a whiff of farm smell now and then bearing in mind that there are farms in the area and I have a strong sense of smell.

Good size cottage nice and Clean,we liked the living room, good size fridge freezer, the wardrobe and draws in the double room were nice we didn't go in the other room ,pretty garden, all though we didn't use the hot tude it was nice to have the option, nice area, very grateful we were allowed to arrive early as we had two dogs and we're worried about the hot weather so thank you very much .

Sorry to have to say this but I think the cottage is in need of an update it was tierd and old fashioned the bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows

"Good"

7.0

The cottage was lovely, we liked its quirkiness, great position and a sunny garden but the rooms needed a bit more tlc.

The washing machine was on a £1 coin meter which was a nuisance and there was no tumble dryer although it was advertised as having one.

Size of property, privacy, it had everything that would be required by a family

The property was showing its age and needed a spruce up, no towels were provided, the garden was becoming overgrown - unfortunately, it wasn't to our taste.

"Quiet get away!"

8.0

The property was great and perfect with the kids and dog. Couldn't fault the property as it was perfect for our quiet get away. Had everything you needed and a small shop not far away.

The only thing that I found awkward was getting out the drive. Looking to the right on a blind 60mph road was a little hairy to say the least with a few close encounters. It really could benefit with a mirror on the opposite side.

"Charming little cottage in stunning location, with good access to Cardigan Bay and the countryside."

8.0

Self-contained cottage with lovely garden and dedicated off-road parking. Set in a stunning location, with beautiful Cardigan Bay towns of New Quay and Aberaeron nearby, as well as lovely Lampeter and the National Wool Museum. There was plenty of room for a family of four (including two teenagers), and the kitchen had most things we needed (and would ever need), the garden was lovely to sit out in when sunny, and the sitting room woodburner was cozy when the evening turned cool.

A cafetiere would have been nice.
