Central Seafront Apartments with Parking and Self Check-In!

Heating could of been warmer. Did adjust, but it didn't make a difference

Very good communication with the team of the appartment : they are helpful and they answer quickly To your questions. The situation is Perfect , near the Center with a beautiful view over the bay. The flat is comfortable, warm and modern. The cleaning could be better: we found the oven tray full of old grease, and we had To wash the cutlery and table before using it.

cleanliness

All the basics for a short term stay. They have somehow crammed 6 beds in to apartment 103A/103B but with only a two seater couch! A larger kitchen with somewhere to sit down and eat, and a fridge that did not block the front door, would have really improved the experience. If you are staying with a large family or longer term, it may be a little uncomfortable for other than just sleep.

The apartment is located 1.4km from Bryggen. An easy pleasant route and a bus stop located in front of the building. Apartment super clean and equipped. Everything we needed was available. Comfortable beds.

It seems that the apartment is prepared to maximize the number of people it can accommodate. In one room, a door opens onto a bed. The refrigerator located in the aisle limits space and gets cramped. We smelled a bad smell while using the oven, maybe we just need to wash it. Overall rating -5.

Location seems to be up and coming. It’s quite a walk to the centre but there are also excellent bus services right outside the door. Views across the harbour and being right over the waters edge were amazing. Bed linen was really clean and the apartment had been cleaned when we arrived. The hosts gave us optional early access to leave luggage for 2 hours before checkin and 2 hours after checkout. It was a good base for a short city break for a family of 4 (2 grown children).

The kitchen is adequate for breakfast and snacks but needs some attention. It would have been nice to have a bedside table with lamps so you don’t have to get out of bed to turn off lights. Some little things need attention such as light bulb needs replacing

The location was great! The place was also very neat and had great value for money. There even was coffee and a chromecast

Some crucial information was missing mainly in the kitchen, it is really difficult to turn on the stove and the dishwasher. For the stove I think you press a button on top of it to give it 30 minutes of power, the dishwasher however did not reliably work (maybe it was broken idk). Parking was also difficult I spent a lot of time researching where to park and still ended up looking for a spot for an hour or so. We contacted the landlord about the parking via Booking but did not get an answer despite following messages about other stuff.
