Proximity to main sites good. Apartment had all expected amenities although needed to look throughout accommodation to find.

We arrived at the confirmed check‑in time of 3pm and followed the instructions to let ourselves in. Unfortunately, we immediately struggled with the apartment door, which was extremely difficult to open. The same issue occurred when leaving, and at one point the faulty lock trapped us inside. This did not feel safe. The flat is also on the top floor with a very low, sloped ceiling, making it easy to hit your head when entering or exiting. On arrival, the room had not been cleaned. Used, damp towels and bedding were still in place. After contacting the host, we were told the room would be cleaned “sometime that day”. As we were only staying one night, this delayed our plans, and the cleaner did not arrive until 4:20pm. We also reported the front‑door lock issue, but the suggested solution was simply to lock it from the inside with the key left in place. This did not address the underlying problem. The toilet door also didn’t close properly, offering no privacy. The balcony door was broken, leaving gaps that let in cold air and rain. Water entered the room and pooled on the laminate floor, which also attracted mosquitoes overnight. The toilet flush system was faulty and required careful use to stop it running continuously. Laminate flooring was not fitted correctly and had holes. We experienced limited storage for simply belongings in bathroom. The bed itself was reasonably comfortable, but the drawers were broken, and the pillows were so high they were unusable. Thankfully, scatter cushions were available. Noise was another major issue. The road outside was extremely loud throughout the night, and at 4am a neighbouring guest used their washing machine, which sounded as though it was right beside the bed. Overall, it was a very restless night and not the relaxing stay we had hoped for.

A melhor parte deste alojamento é que tem um supermercado auchan do outro lado da rua. O que facilitou as compras de comida.

Excelente limpeza em todo o alojamento. A localização é ótima, com o centro histórico muito próximo e também uma estação de autocarros nas redondezas, o que facilita bastante deslocações (por exemplo, conseguimos viajar para Guimarães e Porto por um preço bastante acessível). O host foi extremamente prestável — tivemos uma falha de energia durante a estadia e a situação foi resolvida rapidamente no próprio dia. A cozinha está bem equipada, o que torna a estadia ainda mais confortável.

O chuveiro poderia ser melhorado, pois não encaixava bem e acabava por cair com a pressão da água ao ligar/desligar. A internet dentro do quarto era um pouco fraca, embora nas restantes áreas da casa funcionasse bem. Notámos também que a água quente no segundo banho tendia a arrefecer, possivelmente por limitação do sistema de aquecimento. Por fim, o chão do quarto, do lado direito da cama (de frente para ela), faz algum barulho ao pisar, dando a sensação de estar ligeiramente levantado.
