Appartamento in Pomposa, nel cuore della città

Lisa met us to give us the key and she was extremely friendly and helpful. The space was perfect! As an interior designer, I appreciated the design and could tell they put real effort into the appearance and the functionality compared to many rentals. It's a small space, but the kitchen is still functional. There were plenty of blankets for the bed and everything felt clean and new. Modena is small so the main area attractions were nearby and it was still an easy walk from the train station.

There weren't really any negatives to this place. The only thing that would have been useful was an iron / ironing board.

The apartment is spacious and well furnished and equipped with all necessities. We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy to have a washing machine in the middle of our trip in Italy. The location for us was spot on and within walking distance to everything we needed. Information about Modena was available in the apartment. We had used up all the coffee provided and our friendly host was prepared to help out with some more for our last morning. We enjoyed our stay.

To step the experience up just a notch I would suggest putting a few fresh fruit, fresh croissants, and/or other Italian pastries, a bottle of water and coffee pods in the basket at the door each morning instead of the packaged items that were given. This is especially relevant for people staying longer than one night.

We just stayed for 2 nights and we really enjoyed Lisa's attention to each detail : the flat is very well decorated, comfortable and is located close to the centre, and the cathedral !

This is a great cozy comfortable and cutely decorated apartment located in the heart of the old part of the city, close to everything. The hosts were easy to contact, and obviously have put a lot of care and thought into furnishing the apartment so it can be your home away from home. Just go to the historic Mercato Albinelli, a 10 minute walk, stock up on ham, cheese, tortellini/pasta, vegetables, fruit and a bottle of wine, and with this apartment you are all set to enjoy the best food of the region without the price of eating out. They have a cooktop, pots, pans, and little touches like packets of olive oil and vinegar (for your salads and vegetables) and milk for your coffee in the morning, along with maps and information about the region. There is also a washer (with detergent supplies), excellent internet, a small couch and table, and a nice sized bedroom and bathroom. The apartment has windows onto the street so the apartment gets sunshine, yet is quiet as it is not on a major thoroughfare. There are nearby restaurants and shops and the train station is only a 10 minute walk away. I thought it was great!

Some people might not like the foam mattress but that's a matter of taste.

I highly recommend this place. It is situated in the city center, very well located and the apartment is so cute: it has everything you need and it’s very clean. One of the best stays I had in a long time. Thank you !
