Belsay 4 bedroom bungalow with loft conversion

Well laid out. Well presented. Had everything we required.

Both en-suites floors were dirty. Bedroom at the kitchen full of spider webs and quite a lot of spiders. Not a lot of parking.

Loved the bedrooms. Beds were excellent and really comfortable. Rooms were all spacious and to high standards. Just enough room to park 2 cars but tight access to the bungalow. Kitchen was great, loads of space and oven cooks well. Postcode took us straight there and easy to get to. Host Kym was really lovely and helpful. Fast email responses or phone calls. Nothing to much and even provided more towels as stayed for 4 nights.

Sad to say that I thought the bathrooms and ensuite bathrooms let it down abit. No shower door on main bathroom and no lock on door. Crack in the shower tray in single bedroom and lock on door didn't work. Not sure when these occurred though give benefit of the doubt. Just not very clean either. No cleaning under sofas and when did sweep up got loads of dark bits which couldn't see. No hoover in property to tidy up ourselves and dust pan was broken. Kitchen sink is just in a ridiculous position so got no kitchen worktop space to store dirty dishes to wash them up. Just strange positioning. Strange that only x7 items of plate/bowls/cups provided with all that cupboard space. Means have to wash up every time before having some other drink or food. Had to clean all the baking trays before we used them. Not sure if all these were checked beforehand.

How great it was for us with small children. Lots of rooms and bathrooms and lovely dining area.

Nothing we didn't like. The fridge wasn't that clean when we arrived but everything else was great.

Really lovely house, very spacious and well decorated. Great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Will securely be back.

We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding in Dalton Old Pump House. The bungalow looks to have recently been renovated. It has comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space inside, offroad parking, WiFi, keysafe for entry worked perfectly, nice quiet area, recycling area very good, felt very secure. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The general cleanliness could be improved, the floors were very dirty as our white socks were filthy just walking around indoors. Missing shower door in main bathroom made it difficult to have a shower without soaking the rest of the bathroom. None of the extractor fans in the bathrooms worked. Empty beer can of cigarette butts in garden on decking.

Fresh and modern interior. Bigger than expected.

Driveway was a little “tight”.

lovely bungalow, lots of space , very quiet area , owners very helpful when messaged to ask questions, like where was the cutlery draw, ( by the way it’s in the draw below the hob, it’s a draw in a draw. ) lol

just needs finishing off in places, like shower doors not fitting , just little jobs that if done would make it a great place
