Authentic house in the old Medina of Marrakech

There was nothing to dislike about this property. The location was amazing. Even though we were in the heart of everything, once the front door was shut, the property was quiet. The property was clean and well equipped. Hayat was an angel and looked after us well. The roof terrace really takes the property to another level.

Nothing!!

We were met at the gate to the medina by Hayat, who led us to our accommodation. We were served a substantial breakfast which included freshly made omelettes/pancakes, fresh bread and good coffee. I became very ill while staying at the property and Hayat was empathetic and helpful, and did not complain about the extra laundry. Having a second toilet was a boon.

It would have been nice to actually meet our host, Marra, who owns the property. The kitchen was very small and a bit higgledy-piggledy. It was not really possible to make use of it, even to make a sandwich. (We were able to use the 'frig and to make hot drinks.)

This is a beautiful house in a great location in the medina. It is spacious and each room is beautifully layed out, with a gorgeous sunny terrace. We loved having breakfast on the terrace and having down-time in the bedrooms and living room. Hayat who manages the house and the breakfast was so lovely and made sure everything was looked after - she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay.

Organising our check-in and transfers via message with the owners of the property was slightly difficult as they weren't super pro-active. But once organised everything ran smoothly.

The house was just perfect! The area is great and we absolutely enjoyed our time there from the first moment! It's calm, even it's right in the middle of the living centre. The breakfast was fantastic and we all had a lovely time! When Marrakech - then here!
