Brand new apartment in the heart of Bratislava

The location was great and the owner was very communicative. Easy to find and get into.

The first thing is that the elevator is 70+ years old. The bed was too small (140 cm) but the sheets were clean. The apartment gets very hot without any air going through even with ventilators working all day. Airconditioning has to be integrated. The bathroom is nice but has a stale water smell and has to be kept closed. The overall cleanliness was one of the worst i have ever seen. With spider webs, clumps of dust, dirty glasses and dirty cupboards. It has never happened to me before like this and we started looking for a hotel the next day. But we could not change because of time constraints. The prices of a 4 star hotel with breakfast was the same as this small and not clean apartment (even Radisson blu Carlton). It is beyond me how an apartment like this has such reviews but I can safely say they were fake. I hope the owner takes this remarks into account and improves all aspects and also makes the price according.

Nice, cozy appartment, has everything one need. The place is spotless clean, the kitchen has enough utensils for preparing food, also a microwave, kettle and small electrical stove. The fridge works perfectly. Even there was some oil, salf and basic ingridients for preparing food. Also, I saw a wime opener in one of the drawers, really nice touch:) An iron and ironing board can be found in the appartment, plus a very good hair dryer, too. Lots of wardrobe space. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walking to Danube river, maximum 10 minutes of walk to the city center and 15 minutes to the main bus station. It is in a nice street with lots of trees and zero noise :) The appartment has enough natural light during the day and enough light bulbs for night hours. The building is clean and has an elevator. The owner is a great guy, check in was easy (we met in person), and he was available for all my questions during the stay. Check out was also super easy (self check out). Must notice that it is very nice to have a human waiting for you for check in, and not being given some codes for entering the appartment. Call me old fashioned, but meeting the host is always a plus for me. I am pretry sure this place can't get better because iit is simply perfect :) Definitively for my next stay in Bratislava I'm booking this!
