4 bed loft apartment overlooking historic town

The kitchen/lounge area was quite pleasant with a good view out through some very characterful windows.

The apartment is located above a hotel which is now permanently closed. The whole building is in a very poor state of presentation and does not really match the photos on booking.com. Inside the apartment, essential maintenance is required and the state of decoration was quite poor. For example, the individual bedroom doors did not shut properly and had no locks. The parking area for the hotel (we assumed it was the designated parking area) was located behind the hotel and behind a row of shops and was very untidy. It does not create a good impression when arriving and there are no signs, for example, to confirm where you should park amongst the various vans, garages, etc. We did not feel entirely secure leaving our cars there. All in all it reminded me very much of my old student accommodation days.

great for staying with other family members

not enough seating for relaxing or dining in relation to the number of beds ( ie people staying). entrance to the property not very inviting. bathrooms need updating

the property was clean, easy to find and really nicely decorated. We loved that each room also had its own bathroom too. I could not fault our stay
