Es war ein sehr anstrengender Urlaub

Die Wohnung war zwar zentral, aber es war leider nicht komfortabel für 5 Personen. WC Papier waren lediglich 1,5 Rollen. Kein Fenster mit Ausblick nur Hinterhof. Die ausziehbare Couch eine Katastrophe zum Schlafen. Es war nicht sauber. Fußboden wurde sicherlich nicht gewischt und auch die Dusche nicht geputzt. Für 2 oder 3 Leute OK sicher nicht für 5 Personen. Im Einzelzimmer war nicht einmal eine Klima geschweige denn ein Fenster. Das Frühstück war viel zu wenig und wurde mir gesagt, dass ich bei der Anreise eine Email bekomme, damit ich weiß wo das Frühstück ist und wie es abläuft. Ist leider nicht passiert und ich musste alles selbst erkunden. Der Parkplatz war weit weg. Wir hatten Fahrräder mit unserem Bus mit und eine Dachbox es wurde aber nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass es so ein kleiner Parkplatz ist. Die Bilder im Internet sind nicht konform. Wir waren mit Freunden dort also 2 Pärchen und unser Sohn. Alle im Quartier zu bleiben war unmöglich, zu eng. Auch die Handtücher haben nicht gut gerochen. Duschbad und Handcreme viel zu wenig. Der Wasserhahn in der Küche war kaputt ... es war Vieles nicht OK für diesen Preis

- La posizione dell'appartamento, centralissima. - La disponibilità del parcheggio privato incluso nel prezzo, indispensabile se si viaggia in macchina perchè parcheggiare in centro a Trieste è sostanzialmente impossibile. - La comodità del letto matrimoniale.

- Il parcheggio privato si trova in una struttura separata dall'appartamento, ma il telecomando per accedere va ritirato in una keybox presso l'appartamento stesso (al secondo piano dello stabile, accanto alla porta di ingresso). Il problema è che in quella zona è sostanzialmente impossibile parcheggiare, quindi se si viaggia da soli ci si trova in difficoltà. Noi fortunatamente eravamo in due, e mentre la mia compagna è andata a ritirare il telecomando io l'ho aspettata in auto in una strada vicina (l'appartamento è in una zona pedonale). Stessa scomoda procedura al check out. - L'appartamento è buio, e anche piuttosto umido. - Come ha segnalato Lea in una precedente recensione, l'appartamento è poco accogliente: pareti spoglie, ganci senza quadri sul muro, niente cuscini sul divano. Aggiungo che le pareti hanno in più punti macchie e segni, e alcuni spigoli sono rovinati o scrostati. Come Lea, anche noi abbiamo trovato una lampada rotta in camera da letto: le due parti erano semplicemente appoggiate tra loro, e il tutto appoggiato al muro per poter stare assieme. - La dotazione di utensili per cucinare è davvero ridotta all'osso: suggerirei di aggiungere perlomeno un coltello da cucina affilato e un forchettone. Nell'appartamento era poi disponibile solo un cucchiaio; ho chiesto all'host se poteva farmene avere altri e la testuale risposta è stata che non avrebbe davvero saputo come fare, perchè avrebbe dovuto comprarne di nuovi. Mi auguro che almeno abbia provveduto per gli ospiti successivi. - Come riportato anche nella recensione di Jeroen, l'host mi ha letteralmente implorato - in quanto disperato (parole sue) - di lasciare una recensione 10/10, perchè i precedenti ospiti avevano dato solo 1, facendogli perdere lo status di superhost. A parte la richiesta a mio modo di vedere assai discutibile, io di queste recensioni da 1 non ho trovato traccia, almeno tra quelle visibili su Booking.

La struttura è senza dubbio pulita e si presenta abbastanza bene.

La posizione. Se arrivi in macchina è parecchio scomoda. Si trova in zona pedonale ed è difficile anche solo accostarsi con la macchina per scaricare i bagagli. Il parcheggio è vicino ma non attaccato alla struttura. Inoltre per arrivarci viene inviato un video che bisogna stoppare in continuazione per capire che strada fare. Davvero scomodo, con bagaglio e due bimbi piccoli.

Really liked having a private parking facility. Saves you the hassle of searching for a parking spot in a foreign city. Instructions were clear for reaching house and parking garage (although could've been done with a written instruction)

- there was 1 spring in the bed that was noticeable - there's not too much daylight in the apartment - we arrived 15 to 30 minutes after check in time to get the jeys and got send a message where we were and if we took the keys. We took the keys to park the car and went to the room afterwards. The host hadn't cleaned the room and was too late doing it, didn't give an excuse. We were still in our swimsuits and needed to shower. But we had to change and wait for the cleaner to make the room ready. Wasn't the best experience. - breakfast was interesting... we weren't allowed to choose anything from the menu and the waitress was annoyed with the coupons. - after the stay, the host begged me to leave a 10/10 review because the previous owners had given him a 1 star review and thus would jeopardise his superhost status. My man, I could not find the review and I am not on air bnb! Just accept that some people have different opinions.

Large and clean apartment, the kids could have their own beds, we had our own bedroom and nice little kitchen and dining area. Amazing location too, you can walk to all the sites in Trieste, particularly close to the Grand Canal, which is a lovely place to eat dinner. Breakfast was in a gorgeous little cafe round the corner. Comes with a secure parking space that's a short walk away, easiest to walk back and forth from the apartment with the key. We were glad of it as parking in Trieste is a nightmare!
