Kate , the manager, sorted out the booking error and found us a double room instead of a twin. The hotel was in a quiet area of Sheffield and on a regular bus route into the city centre. Room was comfortable and clean

The restaurant still not up and running but plenty of tea and coffee in the room.

Good location. The room was big with high ceilings, plenty of towels & toiletries. Beds were comfortable.

The quadruple room was on the ground floor next to the main entrance. It was quite noisy with staff/visitors passing through the hall. The noise did stop around 11. There were people smoking outside the front door which was open all the time and we could smell smoke in the room. There was no wifi in the room. We were warned the connection was bad but it did not exist.

Cleanliness, recently refurbished with off street parking.

Struggled to find reception. En-suite: towel holder coming off the wall and loo seat loose & not possible to prop up safely. Smell of cigarette smoke in en-suite.
