Under the Stars Shepherds Huts at Harbors Lake

We loved our cosy one night stay here, great communication from host Tracy. She asked if we needed milk before meeting us on arrival. The hut is so cosy with beautiful views of the sheep in the field. Tracy even asked if I’d like to feed the sheep the next day which I would have LOVED had we had more time. I’m sure we will be back during one of our many trips to the Island and I will have my sheep-feeding hands ready!!

Not one bad thing

This was our second stay, both times to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The hosts are so welcoming and even put up a happy birthday banner for us! We arrived and were given some milk and a bbq (unfortunately the weather didn't allow for us to use it this time) we we also given some freshly laid eggs which were absolutely delicious! We love coming here, it's cosy, private and the perfect getaway for some relaxation. The small log burner made it even more cozy! Thankyou so much and we can't wait to book again!

We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much we returned this year. This is an ideal location to switch off and disconnect from things and take a good break, slow down and look at the sheep in the field which you can arrange to participate in feeding if you’d like to. An extremely well equipped shepherds hut, with everything thought of and even fresh milk and eggs on arrival. If you have the wet weather would suggest taking a tablet or laptop so you can watch some downloads or TV which we did and were thankful of it on this stay. We hope to return for a third time next year.

Unfortunately we had a wet weekend this time ☹️ but we still enjoyed our stay and it didn’t ruin our break.
