Charming room in peaceful part of urban Valeta

The hostess was polite and helpful. It had a spacious equipped kitchen. Some extra towels (even though i found them by accident in a closed closet) Good location next to the bus station for the ferries.

The location is wrong. I got a different location while booking the room, a different one via Booking messaging and a different one from the hostess. It's better to message the hostess on WhatsApp directly and get all your info. She should also put a key box outside, instead of making you wait for her. If you check in late you pay 10 euros which wouldn't be an issue with a key box. There was no toilet paper and no extra bags for the tiny trash can. No cleaning service or cleaning products. The shower curtain was too short so water was going everywhere. No towels in the kitchen. The wardrobes in the room smelled bad, probably from the old furniture or mold.

The location is great: just a couple of blocks from the main street of Valletta. But do not believe the address on booking.com which is over 4km away!

The address shown on booking.com, in Msida, is over 4km away from the real location, which is in the middle of Valletta. The owner refused to refund my booking after being told that it was made under false pretences. One other niggle: the 1kW(!) kettle takes ages to boil even a cup of water.

It is really in the middle of Valletta, but not in a street with many restaurants which makes it (at least the room to the back) very quiet. The host was very friendly and waited for me because my flight was late. Late check-in was possible for an extra 10€ which is fine since she only has these two private rooms and not a big hotel.

Furniture was not modern but I don’t mind

The landlord is not very friendly and not helpful as she doesn't like to answer questions. The room is very noisy because it's by the street.

Sharing of bathroom

Location was nice, bed was comfy. The apartment is modern, the kitchen was equipped enough for our needs.

We didn’t get ANY toilet paper during the 4 days we stayed. At night the apartment got cold, I was freezing under the blanket even though i wore sweatpants. The room window looks at the street which is noisy in the morning for light sleepers. I woke up several times, but my friend didn’t. Water pressure in the shower is a bit weak. There was a trashbag with dirt in the kitchen and a used towel in the wardrobe upon our arrival.

Location is great everything is near. Great choice
