Such a lovely cottage. Spacious and aesthetically pleasing , lovely decor and special touches. We had a great games night on the Friday with the provided games! Short drive to either town on each side for takeaways and any essentials. Beds were also incredibly comfy!

"Wonderful two night stay at the Blue Cottage."

Pristine cosy cottage with stylish furnishings and wonderful shower. Excellent information from host, few minutes from the Spotted Dog pub where we ate both nights. Food and service were great, thank you for the recommendation and for a really relaxing weekend Simon.

we stayed as three friends and had a great weekend, the property was well located on a bus route for Barnard castle one way or Darlington the other. allowing us to park the car on arrival and not need it again until we left. Everything you could need in the kitchen and plenty of towels for each guest. We have already discussed our next visit.

There was nothing we didn't like.
