Down town apartment with outside area in villa

Clean, all staff I need was there, near to supermarket, parking was great

El apartamento está bien ubicado, cerca del centro. La decoración y el menaje es completo. Tiene 2 habitaciones, éramos 4 y pudimos estar cómodos.

No había wifi, señal tan débil que ni la propia television podía conectarse por lo que no pudimos hacer uso de ella. La cama y las almohadas son blandisimas. Hundidas. La verdad que no son nada cómodas.

The apartment was pleasantly decorated and quiet and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a walkable distance to the town centre and only a few minutes’ drive to the ferry terminal for travel to Denmark (an important consideration for our early morning departure).

This would have been a very good apartment except for the following points. Firstly, unless you are quite slim, it is difficult/ impossible to enter the shower cubicle, as the opening panels are blocked by the toilet and washstand. The Booking.com site refers to “free on-site parking” but we learned shortly before arrival that the owner expected clients to park in another street, along a main road. This was unacceptable as we had a van loaded with possessions and had a very early morning departure. We negotiated a closer parking space but still need to unload much of the van. We also learned shortly before arrival that we were expected to pay extra to use sheets and towels. We consider this an unacceptable practice for people renting out an apartment but if they impose such a condition, it, like the parking arrangements, should be made clear on Booking.com before clients reserve the property. We also do not think it appropriate that an owner expects clients to do a thorough clean of the apartment before departure, as this owner did. While we always leave places tidy and at least superficially clean, we should not be expected to provide an in-depth cleaning service. Finally, a couple of small points: the TV is only if any use of you arrive with your own streaming subscriptions (should be made clear in advance) and we could not turn off some of the lights as we could not find any light switches that controlled them.

Grand proximité du centre ville et des ferrys pour le Danemark. Espace extérieur disponible et appréciable les jours de beau temps. Hôtes sympathiques.

S’agissant d’un logement en sous-sol de la maison des propriétaires, cela peut manquer de luminosité les jours de mauvais temps.
