The apartment was very beautiful,stylish and super clean. The host was a kind and soft spoken lady

I visited the apartment with my family (5 people plus an 8 month old) and informed the host about this then I was told it would be over limit then I told her my cousin will leave then and will not stay the night. We had a 3 night stay at the apartment,the first morning we lost power in the morning which we thought was load shedding,hours later I messaged the host informing them about loss of power. I surprising was told we use too much electricity because we are many (how? The only extra is an 8month old) and got forwarded screenshots of previous days of how much previous guests spent on a day, firstly I found this so unprofessional coming from a host (as I also host guests), secondly, we only checked in after 3pm, took showers and cooked dinner(on a gas stove-which the oven didn't work anyway)...there were other guests that checked out that day that already consumed electricity, thirdly, the difference on the screenshots from the highest spent of the week was less that R20. They had reserved only R274 on their wallet for our stay. The host should set up rules for electricity or maybe make us pay for our own, my family was so uncomfortable after that and it was olny our first day. I believe most people come for business and only use the apartment for sleeping and maybe shower and maybe most visitors don't shower as much as we do which is twice a day..so we were compared with them. Anyway in the end we managed to find what worked better for them, switching off gyser at night and during the day. Maybe she should request this from her guests at check in
