Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

Excellent experience! The food, the pools, the staff were all amazing. The first resort I’ve stayed at that I would return to.

The best thing about the Fairmont Mayakoba is the food. Everything I ate - except the Korean BBQ (which was not Korean in anyway) was amazing, fresh and delicious. The casitas are very cool, especially the canal view. The only thing that is difficult, unless you are staying in the beach area, the time it takes to get there is looonnngggg. Also, sometimes it’s hard to get a cart. We stayed for our 20th Anniversary, they gave us an upgrade from the main building to a casita, but for an anniversary of that caliber, I would have expected a better location. Warning - don’t visit the doctor at the facility, it is expensive and they sent us to Hospiten - which is the biggest scam hospital ever. They tried to charge us $27,000 for a simple surgical procedure that costs $5000 in the US with no insurance. Hospiten also gives estimates on the price of your visit based on where you’re staying. So, if you’re coming from the Fairmont, be ready to pay a huge amount. They also give kickbacks to the hotel, which in my opinion is disgusting. Another issue unfortunately was our room, there was at least four different issues that we had to address over the week’s stay. However, the property did compensate us by giving us one night free, which I thought was very fair. Overall our stay at the Fairmont in Mayakoba was pretty great and again the food was spectacular.

the food was fantastic, the property was very clean and the amenities ( pools, restaurants) were the best of all the "all-inclusive resorts that I have previously been to. The staff were very helpful and took care of our needs. The only downside to this trip (which was not within the control of the resort) was that it rained every day we were there.

This is probably the most amazing all inclusive! The quality of the food is amazing. They have great kid friendly activities and meals! The baby sitters are AMAZING!

Greeted with a warm cucumber infused towel and a glass of green juice. It just got better and better from that point.

The natural beauty, delicious gourmet meals, apps & snacks, luxurious facilities & architecture, and ABOVE ALL EXCELLENT PERSONAL SERVICE made it the best vacation our family has ever had thus far. All thanks to great people like Alejandro, Riccardo, Daniel and Hector at Brisas. Extra special appreciation to Gilberth, Alexander, and Angel, for making the beach days so memorable, as well as to Herber at Fuega and their uniquely tasty dishes that made for the outdoor moonlit dinner of a lifetime. Wonderful Irene was also exceptional and looked after each of our requests & questions so perfectly, and always reminding us if there was anything we need that she is there for our family. Behind the scenes there must be many chefs, cleaners, gardeners and administration that together deliver the flawless execution at Fairmont Mayakoba. The concierge text line from the hotel starting pre-check-in to post-checkout was also a great feature! Only blemish/irritant were the host & hostess at Tauro; the two of them were unorganized, incompetent and insincere both times we went there (Jul31, Aug2). The chef and waiters at Tauro still made up for it though, working hard through the heat for the guests at the outdoor patio tables.

The perfect place to relax. The service and food were fabulous.
