Nisi Luxury Suites with private pool in Gouves

We loved our stay in Kato Gouves in this 2 bedroom house with swimming pool. Kato Gouves is a nice town with some good restaurants and pubs. The house offers everything you need, and the host is just superb! Technology all over this place (Alexa), but you can also do everything the old-fashioned way with 'regular' switches. 2 beaches within short walking distance (5 minutes or even less). To be honest, the beaches are nice, but are rather mediocre. There are far nicer beaches less than a 20-minute drive away. We rented a car and visited lots of places (let's be honest: the typical tourist spots) and Kato Gouves is a nice place to stay if you want to visit the western (and even central) part of Crete. To reach the southern part of the island (Matala, Agia Galini) you need a car and you have to drive across a mountain range, the drive itself takes about one and a half hour. The host, Yiannis, is a very likeable person who offers great tips, and takes care that towels and even bed linen are changed after staying there for about 3 or 4 days. The swimming pool is not that big, but will do to cool down as it might get quite hot in Crete.

Actually, everything was superb. But keep in mind that the house might feel a little cramped when staying there with four persons for an entire week. Then again, you have way more space than when staying at a hotel. And it's not like you will be in the house a lot, though it is a very luxurious house which offers all comfort.

Location was really good close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. House and pool both really clean and Yiannis was brilliant keeping in touch the whole holiday and even provided us with food when we arrived late at night and a birthday cake during the stay.

We had an amazing week at Nisi Suites. The host Yiannis was very welcoming, and throughout our stay, was helpful and always on hand if we had question. The accommodation was immaculate and fitted out to a high standard. The accommodation was home from home.

Location was great, close to all the amenities you need. Wi-Fi and all the tech worked brilliantly, much needed for us working remotely. Yiannis was brilliant, communication was super and we felt very welcome and looked after.

The apartment is excellent and has absolutely all the facilities one might need, it is clean, new, and very spacious for a couple or a small family. The smart home facilities just make everything easier on top of this. Yiannis is an extremely thoughtful host, he welcomed us with small gifts from the island and with everything needed to settle in properly for the first night. We cannot wait to back!

The Nisi Luxury Suits is all you need at one place, and a bit more. The position of the property is perfect, 15 km from Heraklion airport, 5 min walk to the beach, and 5 min from beautiful tavernas and restorants. House is super modern, with all the equipment you may need... you have and Alexa at you disposal. It's super clean, and comfy. The garden and the pool is a perfect spot for dinner and relax. The owner welcomed us, he is super friendly....he gives us all the information we may need, about nice beaches, tavernas, markets... And of course there was a welcomed Raki (super tasty)! The PRIVACY and comfort at the same time is what I like the most at this property! Absolute 10!🤗

Yiannis was an amazing host, made sure we had everything we needed to make it feel like a home from home. He made us some homemade spirits to try, plenty of fruit, drinks and snacks for our stay. The smart home was modern and luxurious, the tv had all the subscriptions we would normally watch at home which was nice to have for the evenings. We enjoyed the pool very much. Yiannis was a very attentive, making sure not to interrupt us when doing a routine check on the pool, he made sure we got the most out of our short stay here and we are very grateful for that. Would love to visit again some time!
