Mountain Suite, Stunning Views, Brecon Beacons

The host was very responsive/present and check in was easy as the keys were left for us. We arrived early, so we appreciated early access. The bedroom was comfortable and the location in a very good areas for accessing Brecon and the Beacons.

The shower was unusable at the time, it was scalding and the lights in the lounge couldn't be switched off. The host responded quickly on this but nonetheless we feel that should have been checked in advance.

The location was perfect, the view absolutely spectacular. The chairs in front of the window offering beautiful views with you morning cuppa, after a night in one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in.

Good location. Surrounded by farm land and views across the valley.

On the A40 so it can get a little noisy. The room door lock didn't work and there was no switch to turn off the living room lights. We believe because the switch was in the main house which is separated by a timber panel in a double doorway. At the time we stayed the property was for sale.

Easy to find & convenient to town

Was smaller than I expected & was booked as an apartment but had no kitchen facilities.

Great little suite in a perfect setting, 2 minutes from a local pub and local wedding venue, both serving drinks and food to the public. Lovely setting, shared with another cottage and the owners house (we think). Owner is lovely, real accommodating and easy to talk to. Perfect location for exploring the Brecons.

This is a suite not a self-contained cottage, no cooking facilities, so you either need to bring an air fryer, like we did or rely on eating out. This is not a negative just a heads up to others, we had no issue with this and were aware when we booked.

Leaving

Was not what I booked we booked with views didn't get no one there to meet us key left in door nothing to do food or eat food tv not working only one seat when there was 2 of us it was that bad we ended up sleeping in our clothes only stopped as I had drove over 7 hours to top it off the place was up for sale the room was for 1 person not 2 I booked a lodge with mountain views hot tub etc and instead got bed sit Lodge got up at 5am to a black cat trying to get in place that explains why there was a cat flap in bathroom door completely ruined our 35 wedding anniversary and didn't even get offered a refund of any sort

Lovely property , great communication and key in the door ready for us as we needed an early check in , the host was great and even offered us a lift to our venue . Highly recommended , and a resident cat came to see us !!! Tea, coffee and milk to hand too....
