L’emplacement était bien et la disponibilité de l’hôte était au top

Concernant l’hygiène il y’a des choses à revoir comme des portes serviettes, le calcaire dans les salles de bain. Et le système d’électricité est vraiment catastrophique .

I was a bit uncomfortable and confused when I arrived and they told me the price I payed wasn’t the one I was supposed to pay .

We made the good choice. Oussam, the operational manager was very helpful and very communicative. The apartment was clean and arranged to have it clean during our stay. We had security guards at the entrance so we felt very safe. It is a construction area so there are not a lot of people living around but it did not bother us. Close to the main street, 7 minutes walk. I would recommend the place. We arrived very late due to flight delays and Oussam waited till 2am. so Thank you.

Nothing.

Everything was bad! Actually, all the bad things that could happen have happened to us in only a few days in Dakar. Next time, we will book a hotel and not apartment, and definitely not Superb apartment.

Ever before, I felt cheated, robbed, intimidated and humiliated. First the address and location as posted in booking.com are completely misleading. The apartment is not close to the main street, route de Dakar as advertised but far away within a construction area which is full of sand and garbage. The roads around do have name and are not asphalted. Taxis or transport service has serious problem to find the place. The apartment and the whole building do not have any number. We felt really unsecure to stay there but do not have any other options since we have paid for the whole stay on arrival. Further, we were obliged to pay 10 000 XOF which is not mentioned on booking.com. Actually, we did not want to pay but were afraid to thrown out to streets. Further, there is no front desk and it was not possible to pay with credit cards as advertised. I had to visit 6 ATM to withdraw the amount of 295 000 XOF for renting and electricity. The apartment was not worth the price that we paid. It was on the 6th floor and we had to walk up and down during the whole stay. For a 66-years old guy to me it was not fun at all! The apartment is barely equipped with only a few kitchenware. We could not find even a scissor! On the night of Thursday 6th June, around 2 AM the electricity went off and everything was dark. We were really scared because we do not know what was happening. Somehow I managed to find the way to the entrance door and found the light in the corridor. I closed the door and checked the fuses which are all on. I waited until the morning to call Ms. Hanissa, the landlady. She told me that the electricity was cut because we used more electricity than 10 000 XOF! We paid another 5 000 XOF to get the electricity back. To complete the agony, on the morning of Saturday around 5:00 there was a water leak which flooded the bathroom preventing me to take my morning shower.
