Delightful little house & Chateau Charme Suite

The room is very clean, very nice and very well decorated. A person feels welcome and wants to stay there often. The owner did a fantastic job in decorating the property and I loved it.

The driveway to the house is very narrow and I had to drive very carefully not to hit the sides of the driveway. It would have been nice if there was milk in the fridge, instead of powder milk which I do not use. It would have been nice if the wifi password was displayed, as I ended up not using the wifi, as I could not find the password in my email.

The room was amazing!!!! Especially love the shower. Was a very romantic first date 🥰 Anna is lovely...we will definitely try out the other room sometimes as I would love to make breakfast in the morning.

What's not to like...absolutely beautiful!!!

Lovely studio apartment, very modern and fresh. There was a fully working kitchen, with dining table and private deck to enjoy the sunshine. Inside was a lovely double bed, very comfortable. Very happy with the stay.

The fridge was very useful, but a little noisy for light sleepers - otherwise everything was brilliant!

New Property: The property itself seems new, suggesting the owner is putting in an effort.

Missing Amenities: Laundry: The listing advertised a washing machine, but none was available. Kitchen: The listing mentioned a microwave, sink, toaster, and coffee machine, but there was no functional kitchen. Parking: The listing promised private parking, but street parking was the only option. Uncomfortable Stay: Bed: The bed was extremely firm, resembling a bed base more than a mattress. Limited Functionality: A taped-off plug near the bathroom sink prevented using essential appliances like a hairdryer. Climate Control: The absence of heating, cooling, or even a fan made the temperature regulation difficult. Language Barrier: The owner's limited English made it challenging to address these concerns during my stay. Privacy Concerns: Thin Hedges: The hedges separating the units were insufficient for complete privacy. Unexpected Noise: Unwanted Entertainment: Upon arrival, I was subjected to several hours of piano playing and the owner's conversations, which disrupted the desired peacefulness. Felt as if you were in an extended room to a busy family household can hear everything. Additional Fees: Food: While snacks were available, they came with undisclosed extra charges on listing although was listed inside room. Rubbish: The bin in the bathroom did not open as the rubbish bin in the main room remained open and would not close suggesting the same style rubbish bin may have been dead. Entertainment: TV had Apple tv which is not compatible with all devices. It also didn't have Netflix installed and was not able to install without confirmation from the owners mobile device. It just felt so unnecessary to have an apple tv linked to the owner's personal account. I could have access to all their personal information definitely some that should be changed as someone could take advantage. I ended up using an HDMI cable from my laptop to watch tv.
