Location was great. The suite was beautifully decorated. The hosts were charming. It couldn't have been better.

From the friendly greeting on arrival to the last cheerio, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Garden Rooms. The exterior and interior is beautifully decorated, the huge bed was very comfortable and the shower room (which I'm very fussy about) was excellent with a powerful shower. Kitchen facilities also top notch and everything was spotless without exception. We were provided with hot cross buns and a Lindt choc bunny 🐇 as it was Easter, and there was a supply of milk, orange juice, tea (so glad to see peppermint ) coffee and biscuits.

Nothing to dislike, except maybe better signage needed at the entrance as we were thrown by the "Private" sign.

The garden apartment was excellent . We travel to the area 2-3 times a year to visit family and it is the best place we have stayed in. The interior is very high quality with super comfy beds and the outside area has a wonderful atmosphere. It was lovely to arrive to a few treats and enough to start us off for a few days with milk, juice and plenty of tea and coffee. We even had little bags of toiletries. This is a very special place and it was a pleasure to stay in this accommodation for a few days.

This was the best self catering we have ever stayed in. The hosts were simply lovely, the location great for all we needed and bed, the comfiest we've slept on. We love that the hosts stay in each of the rooms to check each out for comfort. We were met with an easy check in and they accommodated an early check in request too. Hot cross buns, homemade marmalade and jam as well as delicious butter, oj and the basics greeted us - it was Easter weekend! The comprehensive shop in Tullyallen had all we needed and the location was great; we explored Dublin (train from Drogheda), Trim and Slane from here. The bathroom is lovely and well equipped with a gorgeous rain shower that's hot! The bed is to die for - super comfy and the most beautiful blankets in case you're chilly but the underfloor heating and huge gorgeous arched glass doors along the south facing wall mean you're never going to be cold. Utterly private location along a long driveway.

We stayed here for the February bank Holiday weekend. One of the very few places in Ireland worth the asking price. I would highly recommend and I would stay here again without hesitation. Our two kids loved it. Valerie was also very accomodating. The rooms are spotless. Thank you for making our stay more like a home away from home.

Loved everything

The Courtyard is an idyllic place situated in the grounds of Townley Hall. We enjoyed the understated beauty and peacefulness of this location, yet nearby amenities and places of interest are easily accessible (car essential). The apartment was modern and comfortably appointed, and we found it well equipped for our short stay. The owners were friendly and helpful - thank you for ensuring that our visit was a pleasant one.
