The Bay Cabin, secluded retreat Freshwater Bay

It was superb, a hidden gem, total seclusion and peace. The Cabin is 5 star luxury with everything you need. Beaches and Beautiful walks everywhere.

Superb little hideaway, fantastic host, excellent facilities, great location... and many little extras that help make a short stay perfect. Brilliant communication throughout (pre - and during the stay). So friendly and welcoming, I would definitely return if next on the island. I am very happy to recommend it to anyone.

Nothing really, perhaps the driveway, if you have a low profile car, park on the street instead. But even that, it was still a bonus to have!

Lovely little getaway property, great communication from Sarah, nicely located and the cabin is very secluded. Comfy bed and well equipped!

Not much, pillows a bit firm, TV might be useful if stuck with bad weather.

The cabin was very comfortable with enclosed garden which caught the sun and was ideal for our dog. Location was great, short walk down to the bay, and the coastal walk, again great for dogs. Rock Restaurant and Piano cafe both nearby and excellent. Sarah our host very friendly and helpful

There was nothing we didn’t like

An idyllic property with fast wifi, own bathroom, kitchen and living/dining area. Also includes the loveliest garden with a bbq and lots of furniture to enjoy the stunning country view in the afternoon sun. For those worried, it is enclosed off from the main house by a gate and big trees so it is perfectly private. Highly recommend for a relaxing couples getaway! We are glad we stayed in this quiet and beautiful area. Close to Freshwater Bay and The Needles, and there is a big Tesco only 8mins away on foot. Sarah is a super-cool and flexible host who will give you great recs of the island- thank you!!

Very minor but be warned there is no microwave or freezer. Do not buy a multipack ice-cream (we learnt this the hard way as we did not check beforehand. Our fault!)

Quiet secluded setting. Kitchen had everything I needed. Just perfect.
