There is a very strong stench whenever I stepped into the apartment. The toilet smell of sewerage. Shower section only has a small partition and after the use of the shower, almost the entire toilet is wet and ended up having to step on wet floor everywhere as the towel provided to dry the feet was so thin and useless. Toilet paper roll provided was so small and only one roll. On our first day check-in, the toilet roll was only half of the already very small roll (which means a half used roll from previous guest). I’ve to keep requesting for a new roll every 2 days of my stay. Any noise made along the corridor could be clearly heard in the apartment, which means the sound proofing was very very poor. On my first night, I was “welcome” by one unit’s occupants having a party with at least 20 pair of shoes outside the apartment and also very strong odor along the corridor as I walked towards our unit. The whole floor feels like a “fish market” both in terms of sound and smell. That night, past 11pm, it was still so noisy with people shouting and laughing. To make matters worse, I happened to open the drawer of the bedside table and to my horror, I saw empty blisters of some medicine and used tissue papers in the drawer! This just shows how terrible the housekeeping standards are. I asked for a sea view room and no doubt was given one that has window looking out to the sea but I can hardly roll up the blind to enjoy the sea view because I can easily look into other apartments at the adjacent block which means others can look into mine too (no privacy). So it is not worth paying more for a sea view room. Waiting for the lift has been a terrible experience every single day. Need to wait very long, at least 10 min, and hence always very crowded. To make things worse, one of the lifts is used for transporting garbage and shared with guests. Can imagine the stench! This has been my worst experience I’ve ever had.
