Some attention to the bathroom

The lodge is very close to the town centre but far enough that it’s quiet at night. We were two couples in adjacent rooms which was convenient.

The bathroom was not very clean, the toilet clearly had been leaking and stained the floor around it. The chair in the room was old and uncomfortable and the whole room was boiling with no air flow to cool down. The room also has damp around the window beam and some mold on the curtains. The other room the sink was in the bedroom so you couldn’t even wash your hands after using the toilet without touching door handles etc. We were greeted on arrival but then there was no one around to raise any issues with.

We were greeted by Michael and a warm pleasant friendly smile. Our room was exceptionally clean with all the en suite facilities including a fridge with a bottle of water each, also a bottle of milk for tea/coffee etc. On the day of our departure Michael offered us the opportunity to leave our car on his drive in order for us to spend some extra time in Stratford. this gesture was very much appreciated.

Shower room was too small. The sink was so small with the shelf above it made it virtually impossible to wash your face, shave and brush your teeth without splashing water all over the floor..

It was extremely close to the centre of Stratford

The bathroom was a bit small and outdated and a double bed would have been better
