Dallas Farmers Market Apartment, Just right in Downtown DALLAS TX Perfect Place

The property was as advertised. The hosts were helpful and efficient. The apartment was roomy and very comfortable.

The wi-fi for the TV was occasionally sluggish. But everything else was perfect.

No breakfast included

Communication was poor. We did not get the door code until we phoned. Directions for leaving did not arrive until we got to our next destination!

The location is GREAT, the kitchen is well stocked for basic cooking needs and more. The use of space in the upstairs bedroom is great. The beds are very comfortable and the option of two living areas was great for my kiddos. Some chose to sit upstairs on the couch and relax with the tv and the others took over the living room downstairs. Keep in mind this is a large city and like any of those comes the homeless community. They are not any trouble but they’re not afraid to ask for things they need. They are near by since you’re right in the heart of downtown. Be polite and help them out, they don’t harm. We enjoyed giving them a hot breakfast the morning we left and a full gallon milk and tea. It bless us to see them happy on a cold morning. Also, if you’re interested in the farmers market this is PRIME location! The market was in full swing the morning we left with folks walking around. Loved it! To add: the owners are very kind and very helpful with any questions. We will definitely have this place on our return list!

The only thing I can think of would be the skylights upstairs. We actually loved them but during the peak hours of the morning, it’s quite bright if you plan to sleep in where the beds are laying. Throw a blanket over your head and keep snoozing! Otherwise it’s beautiful to have!

Nice and comfortable. It has a great location and a nice design. Plenty of room. Kitchen had everything needed. My wife kept telling me “we need to leave them a good review” during the whole stay.

The floor was dirty. We took our shoes off when we got home, and our socks became dirty in a minute. Wet mopping would be nice. Also, you need to do something with the post hole in the door. It stays open, and insects come through. We have a small gecko as a neighbor when it gets cold outside.

The location was decent for what we were doing. It was in a short 15 minutewalking distance from Kay Bailey Hutchins Center . It was also close to all the shops at the Farmers Market, which was nice .Very roomy facility. We had everything we needed for our stay . The old brick building had a nice warm antique feel to it. There is even an antique pottery museum attached to it on the back side . We had very few issues with this stay . Good communication from the owner. We would definitely stay here again .

There were a significant number of homeless people around this location at night . Some of them were loud . We even had a guy pass out by the front door . It's not the properties fault, but it's worth noting . Especially if you are not used to that sort of thing. You should also bring your own ice trays to make ice ... the freezer worked perfectly but i dont think the ice maker was actually hooked up . The only other complaint I have is that the shower is plumbed with what looked like 1/4 inch pvc. I'm not sure what the code is for the Dallas area or if this was done for some other reason ,but the water pressure for the shower left a lot to be desired . The walk-in shower was very spacious and fully tiled .

Absolutely everything! We visited Dallas for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. I was able to park my car at the house and rent the motorized scooter to ride back and forth! Saved on parking and walking! I also liked how you could walk across the street and visit a neat pottery place and Farmers market! I ate out at the Farmers market and ordered Door Dash one night! This house was safe the entire stay!

Dallas has a lot of homeless people, but no one bothered me.
