No greeting. Many rules regarding operation times of hot tub and when washing machine was able to be used.

AUThis place is more like a back packers. You should know that you will have a bedroom in somebody's house. I believe the listing has now been updated to a 'home stay' which it was not when we booked. We booked this under the presumption that we would have a quite 'unit' to ourselves for my birthday, I was so upsett when I turned up here. Parking is a joke! the street is very narrow with a lot of construction and very little space to park. It was unclear on the kitchen rules, I have enever stayed somewhere like this and nor would i ever. I like to have a cup of tea of an evening but I was not about to go poking about and using somebody's things. The pictures on the listing showed a kettle in the room but there was not one in our room. We were provided with two cappuccino sachets and someone's left over old lollies. The view from the balcony (as you can see from our pictures) in our room shows a sea of houses and a beautiful mountain range in the background. It would have been lovely to sit out here with a cup of tea and pretend we were not looking over peoples gardens/roofs but no tea and only 1 chair. The internet when out while we were there, the host was very helpful and sent someone to help get it back on. It was very disappointing. I travel a lot and have stayed in many places nicer, cleaner with more amenities for less money.
NLBeautiful location. Had the room with the mountain view, can recommend that to everyone waking up was like an miracle with such view. House very clean, new and modern. Room very clean, toilet and shower olso very clean. Little basket of sweets as welcome gift. Nice host. The best accommodation in new zealand of my 21 day roadtrip.

This is someones private home that they also live in. Use of hot tub and kitchen had restrictions that were not clearly stated on booking.com. These things should be reflected more clearly, before booking.
