Hotel Las Marias de Semuc Champey

The location is fantastic. The staff super nice and helpful. They organised our tours and transport. Freddy our guide in the caves was fantastic. We expected super simple and were pleasantly surprised.

There is no electricity only a generator a few hours a day in the evening. They didnt have filtered water for the guests so we had to buy and use many bottles. No hot water for the showers. The bed was narrow and the blanket was like a scarf.

Breakfast was filling and proportions were a good size
