The Garden Rooms at Tannery House

The location was great as in the heart of Bakewell

We were surprised to find no ventilation as no window at all. We have had colds so wanted some fresh air but didn't feel comfortable leaving main entrance door open during the night. Door into room from garden was a struggle to open as owner advised swelled due to weather which was a concern getting out of room as basically had to force it from bottom. The main concern was the cleanliness. The bathroom was awful and we have looked back at pictures on Booking.com and it doesn't show any pictures at all. Shower area so dirty we didn't use it. We were offered breakfast at another building up the road but worried that if cleanliness was of same standard would not want to eat there so declined and ate elsewhere.

Warm and cosy overlooking a pleasant garden. Ideal location for Chatsworth - short drive away. Breakfast was gorgeous.

Ground level room in the centre of town with free parking. Comfortable bed, plenty towels, drink making facilities available and a hairdryer. A good breakfast was available in a sister B&B a few minutes walk away.

The entrance down a ginnel to the car park was quite narrow but our car was fine accessing it.

Centre of town. Car parking. Clean, warm and nice fluffy towels. Coffee facilities available.

Very comfortable beds and excellent location to explore Amble.

Great position in the centre of Bakewell. Good to be able to access private parking. Very comfortable room, tastefully decorated. Excellent hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast.

Narrow road access to the property. Okay for a small car but l wouldn’t like to negotiate it in a larger vehicle. Door into the room was a bit difficult to open and shut; the wooden door had swollen because of all the rain recently.

The owner is an amazing wonderful human being who goes far beyond her duties. My wife and I are so so grateful for your kindness and hospitality. ❤️❤️
