WoodSpring Suites Columbia - Irmo

Very pleasant staff. Overworked, it appears, but keep a smile & do their best. They deserve a raise!

Couldn’t sleep at night bc of very bright light outside window, & after a tough funeral. Difficulty getting checked in. Seems a weird new chain, to be honest. The quality was all very low-end. Staff was great but not sure who they contract with otherwise.. One more time: awesome staff though for all the hats they have to wear!!

Fire alarm went off throughout the builind at 6 AM in the morning and there was no hotel staff present on the property!!! Fire Department responded and checked the property for smoke/fire and found none, but also could not locate any hotel staff. Wonderful new property (full size refrigerator and full kitchenette, etc.) but what a joke when it comes to absence of hotel staff to address emergency, checkout, etc. Will not choose Woodspring Suites again!

Having hotel staff on property to advise guests during a fire alarm is not a "luxury"! None of the guests nor even the Columbia FD seemed to be able to locate any members of hotel staff to deal with what could have been a life threatening evert.

Location, price and pets allowed.

Never got to stay. Had a reservation, arrived, no staff was on premises to check in any of the 4 families waiting to check in. After trying to reach someone for two hours and speaking with customer service of the Choice brands and help what so ever, we all booked at different hotels. Will never use a choice hotel again.

From the friendly and helpful staff to the comfortable spacious room, it was more than I expected. Would definitely go back

Everything was close by. It was clean

The location was convenient, but it appeared to have strangers hanging around the parking lot.

The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Every time one of us had a question at the front desk, when a staff person finally appeared, they acted as if we were intruding on their time. They were uninterested in answering any questions at all. Additionally, we were there for four days and our room was never cleaned, and when we could never tell the front desk that we wanted it cleaned and new towels because the desk was closed when we left in the morning and again when we got back in the evening (around 8 pm). Finally, this was supposed to be a suite with a kitchen, but you had to purchase any utensil or pot or pan from the front desk. We’ll never stay there again.
