The White House on Bunaken Island

Amanda is the sweetest host og gladly helps you with everthing you need, and the white house has everything that you need when going on vacation. Perfect place to go out in the kayaks and snorkle. It is in walking distance to the "town centre", jetty and many dive centres.

If you like to sleep in, be prepared that the island life starts early and can be a little noisy, but that is part of the charm.

The location is a dream if you’re into walking, biking, or just pretending you’re on a National Geographic expedition with flip-flops on. 🌴🚲🐠 From here, you can reach every charming corner of the island. Rooms are clean, cozy, and come with the kind of peace and quiet your city soul has been craving. Plus, the vibe here is pure island magic — chill, authentic, and just the right amount of adventurous. Would we come back? In a heartbeat! Just don’t book it out before we do. 😉

We enjoyed our stay at The White House on Bunaken a lot! Amanda is a superb host and Abdon and the whole staff treated us so good during our stay! The room and the house were so clean, you will find everything you need and the food was always spot on. Thank you again for making our stay so pleasant!

The host is very helpful and welcoming and the staff extremely thoughtful. The location (right on the beach) is exceptional. There are games, mask and canoes available for exceptional snorkelling

We had a great time at Amanda's White House. She upgrade our room to the apartment with no additional costs. The White House is superb, beautiful, lovely decorated and all the staff is friendly as our host Amanda. All the meals were included and every time excellent. Complimentary bikes, canoes and also 90 minutes snorkeling tour.

Amanda, the host, built herself and her guests a beautiful hotel and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We instantly felt at home. Amandas hospitality is beyond extraordinary! She went more than the extra mile to make ourselves with our two children (1.5 and 3.5) comfortable. She organised toys, children beds, children towels, books - just everything we didn't even knew we could wish! The staff is also very nice and Amanda's chef is one of the best on the whole island for sure. If you go to Bunaken - this is where you want to stay!

It was super stylish, extremely clean and the staff was super nice.

We stayed 3 nights at the large apartment on the first floor. The house itself has such a nice atmosphere, the balcony is great for relaxing, the staff is helpful, the food was excellent. We really did not want to leave.

I would recommend to bring earplugs since the local villagers on Bunaken sometimes have a different rhythm of life.
